preoccupied with spreading democratic dividends to the
people of the state through the SMART agenda than issues
about re-election bid adding that 2019 shall take care of
itself.
While briefing the press on the activities of the government
after the weekly executive meeting, the Information
Commissioner disclosed that the new logo of the state and
the catchphrase ‘finger of God‘ has been dropped for the ‘big heart of the nation‘. He added that a new Delta State anthem has been approved and called on Deltans to learn how to sing it like the national anthem.
On the heaps of refuse that have taken over the streets of
Asaba, the Commissioner said that the Ministry of
Environment and the Waste Management Board were working round the clock to make Asaba clean again.
